Margret Thatcher’s time in office redefined British politics and changed the lives of millions. The latter is ultimately how many people form their political opinions. I have no quarrel with people that hated her because of her policies. That’s a personal matter. What upsets me is seeing how some (and I’m sure it’s a vocal minority of) people have welcomed her death. Celebrating her passing now achieves nothing. It only makes her family’s mourning even harder.
